Linda Rennie

Lately I have been thinking about Linda Rennie alot. I remember the talks we had on the phone, the shopping trips we made, the little things that we talked about, both religous and secular. Here is a poem dedicated to Linda.

The Ride

Let's go for a ride,
And see the sites.
The leaves are in color,
And the sky is bright.

Let's go for a ride,
We'll do what you like.
We'll go to the ocean,
And watch the waves.

Let's go for a ride,
Let's walk the beach.
Examine each pebble,
And choose each sea shell.

Let's go for a ride,
The tide's coming in.
We will walk the shore,
And get our feet wet.

Let's go for a ride,
It may be our last.
You're so very sick my friend,
I want you to last in my heart.
